Our Junior Infants recently had opportunities to use the school’s new ipads to consolidate their learning in English and Maths. During our  station teaching for writing, each station spent some time practicing their letter formation on a writing app on the ipads. The children worked in pairs and helped each other along. During a Maths lesson, groups took turns at using the ipads to reinforce their counting and understanding of number. Again, children worked in pairs which allowed them to support each other’s learning. The children really enjoyed using ipads in school.
