On the 19th of May there was great excitement in the infant classes when we spotted a fire truck pulling up outside our school. One of the firemen, Martin Coughlan, visited each of the classrooms to talk to the children about fire safety. We then went outside to have a look at the fire engine and all of the equipment inside. In small groups, the children had a chance to sit in the fire engine. It was a lot of fun. See some pictures below.
