Today we welcomed Lord Mayor, Councillor Deirdre Forde, to our school.

Our Student Council welcomed her along with Mr O’Connell.

We sang Let’s Celebrate Me and You when the Lord Mayor arrived.

Then she told us all about the work she’s doing in City Hall.

Some of our students had the chance to ask their own questions.

The senior classes led the singing for Amhrán na bhFiann before the Lord Mayor kindly gifted the school a copy of the book ‘The Forgotten Lord Mayor’.

The tradition of homework off was honoured too, much to the delight of the students!
