The first Anti-Bullying Committee in Scoil Naomh Micheál has been setup! The members are;

Teaching staff: Mr. O’Sullivan, Ms. Murphy and Ms. Cooney.

Children: Jamie Ryan (6th class), Traolach Dawson (5th class), Macy O’Keeffe (4th class) and Jack Kelleher (3rd class).

Parents: Gillian Kelleher and Noelle McSweeney.

The committee met last Friday and there were many great suggestions. We aim to host one event per term. Thanks to all committee members for attending!

This morning we had a visit from Elaine Buckley from the ISPCC. Elaine spoke to all the children about ‘Childline’, their services, bullying shields and good/bad secrets. Elaine delivered a great lesson and the children were superbly behaved. Well done to all!
