Summer letter home – June 2017

23rd June 2017

Dear Parents,

As the summer break is upon us, we would like to thank you for your continued support throughout the school year. It has been another incredibly busy year in the school, one we are sure will have many happy memories for children and parents alike.

We would like to thank our Parent Association for their continued work and support throughout the year. We look forward to their Festival of Friendship at the end of August. Keep an eye out for their Facebook page to find out more information.

The end of the year is also a time where we say thank you to staff members for their incredible work in our school. We are fortunate to have a fantastic group of teachers, SNAs and ancillary staff who go above and beyond for the children in our school.

Thank you to White’s Cross GAA club for their continued support in our school. The children really enjoy their lessons with Finbarr and we look forward to continuing to work closely with the club.

Below you will see a list of just some of the activities we have taken part in during the school year. You will also find a list of classroom teachers for the 2017/18 school year.

We would finally like to take this opportunity to wish you an enjoyable and relaxing summer break. We wish our outgoing Rang 6 the best on their journey to post-primary school and we look forward to meeting our new Junior Infants on August 30th.

Le gach dea ghuí,

Patrick O’Connell
