Letter Home – 8th November 2019 – Dates/Food Dudes/Parking/Supervision

Dear Parents,
We hope you had an enjoyable mid-term break and that you are looking forward to an exciting term ahead between now and Christmas.

We would like to bring your attention to several important dates in the coming weeks. These dates are listed below.

We also wish to inform you that the Food Dudes programme will take place in the school in the coming weeks. Children will be encouraged to taste a variety of fruit and vegetables. If your child has any allergies or food intolerances, please inform your child’s teacher.

We would again like to bring your attention to Section 3 of the letter home dated August 29th 2019. We ask please that the centre lane outside the school is used only for the continuous flow of traffic. It is not to be used for the dropping or collecting of children. Please do not use the disabled parking space at the school gates unless you have permission to do so.

This section also refers to parking in the Community Centre car park. This area has been reserved for school staff from 8.30am-3.30pm on school days. We kindly ask again that you do not use the Community Centre car park during these times, including for set-down or turning.

We remind you that children are supervised in the school from 9.10am every morning. The school can accept no responsibility for children entering the school grounds before 9.10am.

Kind regards,

Patrick O’Connell
