This year for the first time ever, our school is fortunate to be taking part in the Artist and Teacher in partnership programme. 6 th class will be working with Producer/Rapper Garry MacCarthy.

Today the class had a taster workshop with Garry where he demonstrated his work, how to create a rap piece, how to match a rap with a beat and recording of work done.

Each group composed their own verse for a group rap which Garry mixed and recorded in the classroom.

We are really looking forward to the workshops in the new year and creating original. Below are a few photos and videos of the work today.
